Pratt Playwrights

April 27, 2007

My playwriting students will be mounting a marathon reading of the plays they’ve been working on all semester this coming Tuesday in the Pratt Student Union.  Festivities will commence at 7 pm.  The plays are all about twenty minutes long.  You’ll laugh.  You’ll cry.  You’ll be embarrassed for your past self as you cower in the presence of their precociousness.

Beth’s Big Debut

April 27, 2007

My beloved Beth Weinstein will be taking the stage tomorrow for her first public reading.  The location is Kenny’s Castaway, on Bleeker Street.  The time is 3;30, though there’s a lineup of six readers, so I’m not sure when exactly she’ll be going on.
